Other Plywoods

 ACX Radiata pine

Radiata Pine ACX offers a smooth grain that is virtually defect free, making it visually appealing and ideal for laminating. Perfect for cabinets, crates, fixtures, displays, and staircases, the Radiata Pine Plywood panel offers many sanding options, minimal core gaps with a tight core line and a balance of machinability and strength.

Radiata Pine ACX is a plantation pine species from Chile, South America that naturally has very few knots. AC Radiata is often used for cabinets, shelving, furniture, and other applications where the highest quality, perfect face is needed.

mARINE PLYWOOD

Marine-grade plywood, often simply called marine plywood, is a good-quality, hardwood plywood made with waterproof glue. Better grades also tend to be lightweight, strong, and virtually free of defects. These qualities are what make this plywood a popular choice for building boats and boat parts. It's also a smart option for durable outdoor furniture projects in coastal areas, especially after it receives a strong protective finish.

BaLTIC BIRCH

Baltic birch is a popular type of plywood, particularly in cabinet and furniture making. It’s naturally stronger and more durable than other types of plywood and often has an attractive, uniform face (depending on the grade). This type of plywood gets its Baltic name from the area the trees are harvested from, the Eastern European Baltic Sea region.

Baltic birch plywood is composed exclusively of birch veneer (thin sheets of birch wood) compressed and bonded together. Each layer of birch veneer is the same thickness, resulting in a more consistent, void-free, stable and aesthetically attractive sheet of plywood. The edges of Baltic birch plywood have an attractive stacked line pattern (achieved by alternating the orientation of each inner ply), making it a particularly popular material to use when an exposed plywood edge is desired.

BENDING PLYWOODS

Bending Plywood, or flexible board, is designed to flex to take the shape of almost any curved contour. Bending plywood’s ability to bend in long-grain or cross-grain directions makes it a versatile panel for complex shaped designs. Radius contours can be painted or covered with a wide range of laminates or paper-backed veneers for the finished look you desire. It’s the perfect solution for curved columns, arches, cabinetry, and furniture in both residential and commercial settings.
